Building conservation

Churches, culturally historical structures, timber houses or modern buildings... Protecting a building's façade against weather, wind, mould and rot is the be all and end all in conserving a stunning wooden house. The Vikings were the first to discover the fantastic characteristics of tar pine, using it to protect their ships from, above all, rot. Thanks to Auson's pine tar, the East Indiaman's ornate wooden details can be maintained and conserved. Many of our churches and other medieval buildings are also still standing today thanks to pine tar treatment.
