Sleeper oil provides effectively long term decay protection for all types of wood, such as sleepers, fences, poles, etc.
Chinese wood oil or tung oil is extracted from the seeds of the tung
tree. Thanks to its extremely small molecules, the oil has excellent
depth penetration properties and has long been used to protect wood
against moisture penetration and cracking. It is also suitable for
treating hardwoods such as teak and mahogany. The oil is combined with
linseed oil and solvent.
